  • Who is eligible? Our home loans are available to all Indians, both residents and non-residents, aged 21 to 70.
    • Purchase of a new or previously owned residential unit.
    • House construction.
    • Purchase of a plot of land to build a dwelling.
    • Repaying a loan from another Housing Finance Company / Bank that has previously been taken out.
    • A repayment period of up to 30 years is possible (floating rate option).
    • Reimbursement of the cost of the plot (purchased within 24 months)
  • Loan amount: The amount of a home loan that can be obtained varies depending on the applicant’s location and income. For example, the maximum home loan amount in semi-urban and rural areas is Rs. 1 crore, whereas the maximum home loan amount in metros might range from Rs. 5 crores to Rs. 10 crores.
  • Interest rate: The interest rate is linked to the Baroda Repo Linked Lending Rate(BRLLR) of the bank and is reset monthly.
  • Tenure and moratorium: The term of our home loans varies depending on the loan amount and the borrower’s income, with a maximum term of 30 years. On home loans, there is also a moratorium period, which can last up to 36 months after the loan has been disbursed.
  • Collateral: We require collateral against home loans. We usually take a mortgage on a constructed or purchased property as collateral. Insurance policies, government promissory notes, shares and debentures, gold jewelry, and other items may be accepted as collateral for home loans in some situations.

  • The maximum loan would be Rs.10.00 Crore per unit to any individual applicant based on the area where the property is proposed to be constructed/purchased. We will extend loans up to 90% (for fresh houses/flats) of the cost of property under our Housing Loan Scheme.
  • We can grant a period of up to 30 years. Under no circumstances can the loan duration exceed the age of retirement or the completion of 65 years of age, whichever comes first.
